It is our hope that our students will successfully enroll in the most prestigious world-class universities

Reconciliation and Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act

In keeping with the spirit of thoughtful Reconciliation with First Nations, Metis and Inuit people and in support of the British Columbia Ministry of Education, Johnathan Academy would here like to state our land acknowledgement.

Land acknowledgements are intended to show our respect for the land, a tradition that dates back centuries for Indigenous people.

Land acknowledgements have been adopted as a common tradition in civic and community spaces across Canada – a small but important step towards reconciliation.

“Johnathan Academy would like to acknowledge

that we gather to work and study

(Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh
