Last Day of Summer Term

The school year has a rhythm to it, and most of the fixed points matter to families rather than only to students.

Through the Year

September — term begins; AP exam registration opens for the following May's sitting.

Autumn — the first Waterloo and AMC contests; open house and campus tours for prospective families; first reporting period.

November — AP regular registration closes, and Join Codes are issued for exams registered in the autumn. This is the month AP candidates need to be watching their email.

Winter term — January through April; the Canadian Computing Competition in February; Euclid and the spring mathematics contests in March and April.

May — AP examinations across two windows, with late testing in the third week. Spring term runs alongside.

June — Spring term ends; graduation.

July–August — Summer term, subject to enrolment.

Dated Calendar

Exact dates — term start and end, holidays, professional days, assessment periods, reporting dates — are published in the school calendar for each year, available from the school office and the documents page.

Notices

Event notices are sent by email to the address the school has on file. If you are not receiving them, check the junk folder first, then confirm the address with the school office — an out-of-date address is the usual cause.
